
Upon commencement at Playside Studios, I was put on a new project with Skydance Interactive - to create an arcade game mode for their VR title “Archangel”. This was my first introduction to VR so there was a lot of learning to be done in that area. One major focus of this project was creating a user interface that could be easily readable in VR, I offered many ideas (such as colour coordinating the HUD to your current combo) and assisted in the implementation.
This project was also my first introduction to AAA development, giving me a large improvement in code structure, as well as skills related to working with large teams.
